CARDEX BACKGROUND
The role of this Energy
Mystery Energy can only be attached to a Psychic Pokémon. It supplies Psychic Energy and reduces that Pokémon's Retreat Cost by two Colorless Energy. If attached to another type, it is discarded. Its mobility help combines with a restricted Energy supply without automatically making every retreat free regardless of its original cost.
Background on this Special Energy’s effect; the printed text, edition and finish of each card remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
The two Colorless Energy describe the Retreat Cost reduction, not two extra supplied units. The card provides Psychic Energy and does not retain its effects on a Pokémon whose type fails the restriction.
