CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Squawkabilly prefers cities to isolated places. Individuals gather in flocks according to feather color, then defend territory against other groups. Green-plumaged flocks hold the greatest influence, according to the Pokédex. When they seek food in the morning and evening, their cries make streets particularly noisy. Color is therefore more than an appearance detail: it plays a part in group formation and rivalry.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Scarlet explains that Squawkabilly flocks form by color and contest urban territories. Pokémon Violet distinguishes green groups as the most influential and places their food searches at the noisiest times of day.
