CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Pikachu's electricity is not only used to drive off opponents. When two Pikachu meet, they may touch tails and exchange electricity as a greeting. The gesture turns an impressive power into a sign of closeness. Behind the sparks and charged cheeks lies a way of getting acquainted that belongs to this small forest-dwelling Pokémon.

A detail worth noticing

Pikachu swsh11tg-TG05's Pika Dash Ability removes its Retreat Cost as soon as it has Energy attached. Whimsy Tackle shows 50 damage but does nothing on tails. Atsushi Furusawa illustrated this card: mobility comes from the Ability, while the offensive hit depends on a coin.
