CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Air Balloon reduces the Retreat Cost of its attached Pokémon by two Colorless Energy. The Tool therefore affects the price of leaving the Active Spot without immediately moving its bearer. A sufficiently high cost may remain after the reduction. The player gains help with movement, but the effect does not always promise completely free retreat.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Air Balloon reduces a Retreat Cost; it does not reduce its bearer's attack costs. The reduction corresponds to two Colorless requirements. Depending on the Pokémon's initial cost, an expenditure may therefore still be needed to retreat.
