CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Cynthia & Caitlin recovers a Supporter from your discard pile into your hand, but excludes copies of Cynthia & Caitlin from that recovery. When played, you may also discard another card from your hand to draw three cards. The recovered Supporter cannot be the card discarded through this additional effect.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

The draw bonus requires an optional discard separate from Cynthia & Caitlin. That payment does not broaden the recovery choice: immediately taking back the card discarded in this way is explicitly forbidden.
