CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Cherish Ball searches your deck for a Pokémon-GX, reveals it, and puts it into your hand, then you shuffle the deck. The Item prepares a card from a particular category without putting it directly into play. Its effect does not restrict evolution stage. The GX designation remains essential: a powerful Pokémon from another category does not qualify for this search.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

Cherish Ball requires the Pokémon-GX designation without an additional type or stage condition printed in its effect. The card found must be revealed. It enters your hand rather than automatically being played onto a Pokémon or the Bench.
