CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Fraxure can no longer count on tusks regrowing after breaking. After battle, it carefully sharpens them against stream stones as though maintaining the tool its strength depends on. Its tusks can cut rock, and territorial disputes with its kind are violent. This stage of evolution contrasts a powerful weapon with the need to preserve it.

A detail worth noticing

The two consecutive Fraxure cards show an interesting tradeoff. No. 14 has only 70 HP, but its Ability adds 40 damage to its attack when it has a Special Condition. No. 15 has 80 HP and two fixed attacks of 20 and 40 damage, without that Ability.
