CARDEX BACKGROUND
The Pokémon’s story
Gible seeks narrow cavities that the ground's warmth protects from blizzards. From its hole, it lunges at almost anything that moves and tries to drag it into its den. This eagerness sometimes costs it teeth and causes injuries, but it keeps hunting. Despite its huge mouth, its stomach remains relatively small. The Pokédex therefore describes an impulsive young predator strongly attached to the warm shelters of its habitat.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.A detail worth noticing
Pokémon Moon notes that Gible can break its teeth by lunging too abruptly at prey. Pokémon Shield contrasts its enormous mouth with its small stomach. Its hunting appetite therefore sometimes exceeds its body's actual capacity.
