CARDEX BACKGROUND
The role of this Energy
Reversal Energy initially provides one Colorless Energy. Its major effect requires two conditions: having more Prize cards remaining than the opponent and attaching it to an Evolution Pokémon without a Rule Box. If both are met, it can provide any Energy type, up to three units at once. It thus helps an ordinary Evolution Pokémon respond to being behind in the game. A Pokémon ex or V, cited as a Rule Box example, does not receive this bonus even when its player is behind.
Background on this Special Energy’s effect; the printed text, edition and finish of each card remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Reversal Energy's text cites Pokémon ex and Pokémon V as examples of cards with Rule Boxes. The condition therefore concerns the attached Pokémon's card in addition to Prize standings. Three Energy of all types remain reserved for this precise case.

Printed card effect
As long as this card is attached to a Pokémon, it provides {C} Energy.
If you have more Prize cards remaining than your opponent, and if this card is attached to an Evolution Pokémon that doesn't have a Rule Box (Pokémon ex, Pokémon V, etc. have Rule Boxes), this card provides every type of Energy but provides only 3 Energy at a time.Documented variants
