CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
This Poké Ball makes searching for a Pokémon depend on a coin flip. On heads, the player chooses a Pokémon in their deck, reveals it, and adds it to their hand. The search ends by shuffling the deck. The Item thus combines an uncertain first step with a precise selection on success. The Pokémon is not put directly onto the Bench: it joins resources the player already holds.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
A favorable result does not force a random choice of the Pokémon found with Poké Ball. The player searches for it in the deck and must reveal it. Uncertainty concerns permission to perform the search, not target selection.
