The story behind this Trainer card

Switch moves one of your Active Pokémon to the Bench and brings one of your Benched Pokémon into its place. The player therefore chooses a new fighter among those already prepared. No Pokémon is searched for in the deck or retrieved from the discard pile. The maneuver only changes your team's positions, leaving opposing Pokémon in place and adding no new card to the field.
