CARDEX BACKGROUND
Dachsbun gives off a pleasant smell that encourages wheat to grow. This quality has earned it a special place in farming villages, where it has long been cherished. Its body also has an unexpected defense: its skin hardens when exposed to strong heat. The Pokédex therefore combines help for crops with heat resistance. The fragrance that attracts people's attention belongs to a Pokémon whose surface can become much tougher than it appears.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.Pokémon Scarlet explicitly connects Dachsbun's aroma with wheat growth and the affection of farming communities. Pokémon Violet states that its skin hardens when exposed to intense heat, while also recalling its appetizing smell.
