CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Antique Armor Fossil takes the status of a Colorless Basic Pokémon with sixty HP in play. It is unaffected by Special Conditions but cannot retreat. The text nevertheless lets you discard it during your turn, removing it directly from the field rather than switching it with a Benched Pokémon.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

The sixty HP belongs to the card's operation when played as a Pokémon. Voluntary removal follows an explicit discard permission; it is neither healing nor recovery into your hand.
