CARDEX BACKGROUND
Tranquill can travel several kilometers without forgetting the way to its nest or its Trainer. Its memory and speed explain why delivery workers supposedly sometimes choose it as a partner. In the forests where it lives, a legend speaks of a peaceful land untouched by war. The Pokédex distinguishes this story from its well-known ability to find its way home even after a long flight.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.Pokémon Sword credits Tranquill with a memory reliable enough to find its nest after kilometers of travel. Pokémon Shield says delivery workers make use of this ability. Its reliable navigation explains a human use without confirming the forest legend.
