CARDEX BACKGROUND
The Pokémon’s story
Oshawott keeps a tool on its belly that it can grab at the right moment. Its shell detaches to become a blade and respond quickly to an attack. But this precise gesture also has a quieter use: opening tough Berries. The object defining its silhouette accompanies meals as much as confrontations, like a familiar resource always within reach.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.A detail worth noticing
Oshawott's shell has a surprising composition. Pokémon White describes it as made of the same components as claws. Despite looking like a little shell, it therefore shares a material characteristic with another form of animal protection and attack.
