CARDEX BACKGROUND
Seismitoad vibrates the bumps on its body to attack. Those on its head can spray a paralyzing liquid; on its fists, vibrations strengthen its blows enough to shatter stone. If it activates its whole body, it produces tremors comparable to a small earthquake. This ability also has a peaceful use: the Pokédex presents it as an excellent masseur appreciated by some elderly people. The same energy takes on a different purpose according to the force it applies.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.Pokémon Shield credits Seismitoad's vibrations with a massage effect appreciated by elderly people. Pokémon Sword describes earthquake-like tremors when all its bumps work together. Its vibrational strength can therefore range from gentle care to a very powerful attack.
