CARDEX BACKGROUND
Combee works to the rhythm of daylight, collecting nectar for Vespiquen and the swarm. Its three members stay together, then join others at night to form a hive and sleep. Its existence thus connects a permanent small unit with a larger community, where gathering and resting both take on a collective dimension.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.Combee's three members do not share exactly the same tastes. Pokémon Sword notes that each prefers slightly different nectars. Even a Pokémon whose members spend all their time together therefore retains diversity of preference within itself.
Quoted source text is retained in the card’s printed language so this exact printing can be identified. The CarDex background above is translated into English.
