CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Aron finds in iron ore the material needed to build the steel armor protecting its body. But its appetite does not always distinguish a mountain from a human structure. Rails and bridges can become meals, causing very real damage around it. Its survival and the inhabitants' buildings thus intersect in one material, valuable for very different reasons.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

When it evolves, Aron sheds its old armor. Pokémon Shield says humans once collected it for use in everyday life. Metal abandoned by the Pokémon could therefore find a second purpose after its growth.
