CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Granbull looks formidable with its developed lower jaw and large fangs. Their weight sometimes makes it tilt its head, but it avoids biting without reason. Its nature is even more timid than Snubbull's. It does not seek fights and can be gentle with those who approach it. The Pokédex plays on this contrast: its most visible weapon gives a false impression of a Pokémon that generally prefers peace and quiet.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Omega Ruby notes that the weight of Granbull's fangs forces it to tilt its head. Pokémon Ultra Sun emphasizes that it rarely uses its jaw's power because it dislikes fighting. Its intimidating silhouette therefore conceals a strength seldom employed.
