CARDEX BACKGROUND
About this Pokémon form
Mega Alakazam devotes all its energy to psychic power, to the point of no longer moving its muscles. It remains levitating in a seated meditation pose. The red area on its forehead is said to be an organ used to release that mental power. In Pokémon X and Y, transformation further emphasizes its Speed and Special Attack strengths.
Background on this form in the video games; this card’s attacks, edition and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
In Pokémon X and Y, Mega Evolution improves Alakazam's two major offensive assets: Special Attack and Speed. The official presentation nevertheless highlights its defensive frailty. Despite its increased power, this form retains a weakness to consider in battle.
