CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Drasna shuffles your hand into your deck and then asks for a coin flip. On heads you draw eight cards; on tails you draw three. Replacing the hand is certain, while its size depends on chance. The decision to use the Supporter comes before that result, because the old hand is shuffled away before the flip.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

The text does not preserve your old hand on tails. Both results occur after its return to the deck, and each specifies a new draw quantity rather than an addition to the previous cards.
