CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Shauna refreshes only your hand. The cards you were holding are shuffled into your deck, then you draw five. This is neither discarding nor exchanging cards with your opponent. The card offers a new draw while returning old possibilities to the deck, where they may reappear later. The number of cards received is fixed by the effect: five, even if the previous hand held more options you wanted to keep.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Shauna does not affect the opponent's hand in these printings. Its text first mentions shuffling your hand into the deck, then drawing five cards. This order means the returned cards can be part of the new draw.
