CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Pokémon Catcher can change the fighter facing you, but the result first depends on a coin. On heads, you switch a Pokémon from the opponent's Bench with their Active Pokémon. On tails, this movement is not obtained. The player may therefore try to expose a target held in reserve while accepting the risk that the attempt changes nothing on the field. The effect concerns opposing positions, not your own.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Pokémon Catcher's coin decides whether the opposing switch can be performed. After a favorable result, the text allows choosing a Pokémon on the enemy Bench. It does not require selecting that target randomly among the Pokémon present.
