CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Professor's Letter searches your deck for up to two basic Energy cards. You reveal the chosen resources and add them to your hand before shuffling the deck. This Item prepares a selected Energy reserve rather than an uncertain draw. It does not attach the cards to Pokémon or require them to share a type: being basic Energy is the stated criterion.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Professor's Letter does not necessarily gather two identical Energy cards. Its text allows up to two basic Energy cards without requiring a shared type. They enter your hand after being revealed and are not distributed directly among Pokémon in play.
