CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Buddy-Buddy Poffin prepares the Bench by finding up to two small Pokémon directly in the deck. Only Basic Pokémon with no more than seventy HP can join the team this way. The found cards do not pass through the hand: they immediately enter the Bench. After this setup, the deck is shuffled. The player thus prioritizes establishing specific companions over an unpredictable draw.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
The seventy-HP limit applies to each Pokémon searched for, not their combined total. Two Pokémon with seventy HP can therefore meet this criterion. The effect also specifies that they must be Basic and arrive directly on the Bench.
