CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Wimpod explores shores and the seafloor looking for food. It swallows scraps and waste alike, leaving the area around its nest very clean. Despite this role as a cleaner, it remains timid: at the slightest danger it flees, often with its whole group. It sometimes picks up coins, attracting Murkrow and Meowth's attention. The Pokédex shows a useful collector that is constantly on guard.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Sword describes the consistently clean surroundings of Wimpod's nest thanks to its diet. Pokémon Ultra Sun notes that it even collects coins, then becomes a target for Murkrow and Meowth. Its habit of collecting everything therefore has a cost.
