CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Professor Juniper replaces your entire hand with seven cards drawn from the deck. Before receiving these new resources, you must discard those still held. No selection among them is offered. This refresh opens new possibilities but closes immediate access to the abandoned cards: they are not shuffled back into the deck before the following draw.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Professor Juniper's seven cards arrive after the old hand disappears into the discard pile. The player cannot keep only their favorite cards. The effect entirely refreshes held resources rather than topping up an existing hand.
