The Pokémon’s story

Elgyem has been known for around fifty years and has a highly developed brain for wielding psychic powers. Stories place its appearance near a site where a UFO supposedly crashed in the desert. Other reports of aliens allegedly turned out to be Elgyem simply taking a walk. Near a television, it is said to make unfamiliar landscapes appear on screen. The Pokédex preserves the mystery of its origin and presents these accounts as testimony or rumor.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Ultra Sun says many sightings attributed to aliens concern Elgyem. Pokémon Sword reports strange images on nearby televisions, supposedly showing where it originated. This interpretation remains a story rather than proof of provenance.
