CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Rescue Scarf returns its holder to your hand when it is Knocked Out by attack damage. Its attached cards are discarded. The Tool changes the Pokémon's destination after that Knock Out without saving its Energy or other attached cards alongside it or presenting the return as prevention of the Knock Out.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
The wording requires attack damage as the Knock Out's cause but does not specify an opposing attack here. The distinction between the Pokémon returning and its attached cards being discarded remains explicit.
