CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Wishful Baton takes effect if its holder is your Active Pokémon and is Knocked Out by damage from an opponent's attack. You then move up to three Basic Energy cards attached to it to a single Pokémon on your Bench. The Tool lets you pass on some of its resources in this specific Knock Out situation.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
The transfer does not include Special Energy cards, even if they were attached to the holder. The chosen Basic Energy cards go to one Benched Pokémon, rather than being divided among several successors.
