CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

According to the Pokédex, Charcadet is said to have been born when a piece of burnt charcoal came to life. It has a fiery temperament and does not back down from a powerful opponent. The more it fights, the stronger its flames become. Yet its tastes are quite concrete: it seeks Berries rich in fat. An origin told as a birth in fire thus continues in its battles, while its food reveals a less spectacular everyday habit.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Violet states that Charcadet’s firepower can exceed 1,800°F during battle, or approximately 982°C. The same entry explains its taste for fatty Berries. Pokémon Scarlet tells its origin as a piece of burnt charcoal that became alive.
