CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Salvatore searches your deck for a card without an Ability that evolves from one of your Pokémon, then puts it onto that Pokémon to evolve it. You shuffle the deck after this evolution. The Supporter explicitly allows choosing a Pokémon put into play during setup or during this turn. The Evolution card searched for must nevertheless match the chosen Pokémon and have no Ability.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Salvatore's restriction concerns the card found in the deck: it must have no Ability and be able to evolve the target. Permission to choose a recently played Pokémon does not remove the need for the two cards to match.
