CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Remoraid draws in water and expels it under pressure to hit prey flying above the surface. Its shot can reach a very distant target. It also attaches beneath a Mantine with its dorsal fin, benefits from its leftover meals and can accompany it if a battle begins. When evolution approaches, it travels downstream. The Pokédex combines a hunter's precision with a life as a passenger on larger swimmers.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Ultra Moon calls Remoraid a sharpshooter of the sea and credits it with a range of a hundred meters. Pokémon Shield explains how it attaches beneath Mantine to obtain food. It can therefore hunt accurately or benefit from a much larger companion.
