CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Tinkaton effortlessly wields a hammer weighing over a hundred kilograms. Bold and intelligent, it uses it to launch rocks at Corviknight passing through the sky. It may also steal whatever interests it and bring the loot home. The Pokédex thus depicts an enterprising personality: the oversized tool is more than a close-range weapon. Tinkaton uses it to reach aerial targets and carries it along on thefts that end back at its refuge.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Tinkaton's hammer weighs over 220 pounds, or about 100 kg, according to Pokémon Violet. Pokémon Scarlet gives it an unexpected use: striking rocks to send them toward Corviknight in flight.
