Flamigo

CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Flamigo ties the base of its neck into a knot. The Pokédex suggests this prevents energy stored in its belly from escaping through its beak. Its groups show another trait: members can synchronize movements until all attack at the same instant. The first explanation remains a supposition, while the collective attack describes observable behavior. For Flamigo, how it holds its neck and how it lives in groups each play a role in using energy.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Scarlet cautiously proposes a reason for Flamigo's neck knot: retaining energy in its belly. Pokémon Violet calls the action letting an entire flock attack in perfect harmony synchronization.
