CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Lapras crosses the sea with a gentleness that stands out in its Pokédex descriptions. Intelligent and attentive to human speech, it can carry people on its back. Its song accompanies its journeys across the surface. In this meeting of travel and trust, the great sea Pokémon becomes more than a distant shape offshore: it offers passage over the water to those who ride with it.

A detail worth noticing

Icy seas are no obstacle for Lapras. Pokémon Shield emphasises its resistance to cold and describes its smooth skin as slightly cool to the touch. Its apparent gentleness is therefore matched by a real adaptation to cold water.
