CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Landorus crosses the land, pouring out energy that enriches the soil. The Pokédex connects this fertility with nutrients supplied by its tail and energy drawn from wind and lightning. Crops thrive in its wake, earning it the title of god of the harvest. This title reflects an old reputation surrounding its effects on fields; it accompanies the description of powers linking sky and earth.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon White locates the energy that nourishes soil in Landorus's tail. Pokémon Y notes that it draws this energy from wind and lightning. The title of god of the harvest reported by Pokémon Black sums up this link between events in the sky and crops.
