CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Giovanni's Scheme lets you choose between filling your hand to five cards and increasing your attacks' damage against your opponent's Active Pokémon by twenty during this turn. The offensive bonus applies before Weakness and Resistance. The Supporter addresses a need for resources or power without combining both options.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
The draw option does not automatically add five cards: it fills the hand to that number. The other option boosts damage against the opposing Active Pokémon without promising the same increase for damage aimed at the Bench.
