The Pokémon’s story

Oricorio’s dance changes with the nectar it has drunk. The red form accompanies its steps with flames; the yellow form approaches opponents with lively movements and electric blows. Pink nectar leads to a gentle dance that focuses psychic energy, while purple nectar brings a choreography associated with spirits. These behaviours describe four forms of the same species. A particular card depicts only one: the nectar and dance style must be understood in relation to its exact form.

A detail worth noticing

The official Pokédex presents four different nectars for Oricorio: red, yellow, pink and purple. Its Dancer Ability also lets it immediately copy a dance move used by another Pokémon in battle. This aptitude is shared by the species, whatever the nectar.
