CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Team Rocket's Hypnotizer triggers if the Team Rocket's Pokémon holding it is Active and takes damage from an opposing attack. The attacking Pokémon then becomes Asleep, even if the damage Knocked Out the holder. The Tool turns an incoming attack into a Special Condition inflicted on its user.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
The Sleep target is the attacking Pokémon rather than an opposing Pokémon chosen elsewhere. The holder must both belong to Team Rocket and occupy the Active Spot to meet this effect's conditions.
