Cristal Fuego

CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Fire Crystal retrieves three Fire Energy cards from your discard pile and adds them to your hand. The Item replenishes a supply of the required type without immediately attaching those cards to Pokémon. It does not shuffle them into the deck either. You regain resources in hand, a specific destination that leaves their use to later actions during the game.

A detail worth noticing

All three cards recovered by Fire Crystal come from the discard pile and must be Fire Energy. The cited text does not describe searching the deck, and returning them to your hand does not itself attach them to a Pokémon.
