CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Magma Basin lets each player, once during their turn, attach a Fire Energy from their discard pile to one of their Benched Fire Pokémon. If Energy is attached this way, two damage counters are placed on that Pokémon. The Stadium powers up a rear-line target with an injury tied to the extra attachment.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

The counters go onto the Pokémon receiving the Energy rather than a freely chosen target. The Fire condition applies both to the recovered resource and to the recipient located on the Bench.
