CARDEX BACKGROUND

About this Pokémon form

Introduced to Alola to address a garbage problem, Grimer gradually took on a distinctive form. About a hundred of these Pokémon work at the region's waste-treatment center, swallowing large quantities of garbage. Their bodies keep toxic substances inside: unlike Grimer from other regions, they give off no bad smell, even at close range.

Background on this form in the video games; this card’s attacks, edition and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

The crystals visible on Alolan Grimer nevertheless demand great caution. They are clumps of toxins. When a fragment breaks off, deadly poisons can escape: the lack of an unpleasant odor therefore does not mean its body is harmless.
