CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Rabsca moves a ball ahead of it while the body doing the pushing barely moves. This stillness has led to a surprising hypothesis: its true body may be inside the ball. Another entry describes an infant sleeping there, soothed as Rabsca gently rolls it. The Pokédex does not fully resolve the relationship between these descriptions. It shows a Pokémon whose daily gesture protects contents mysterious even to observers.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Scarlet presents the location of Rabsca's true body as a supposition linked to its limited movement. Pokémon Violet says an infant sleeps in the ball and is soothed by its motion. These entries do not specify whether they describe the same being.
