The Pokémon’s story

Meowscarada diverts its opponents' gaze before attacking. Reflective fur on its cape conceals its flower's stem, making the flower appear to float by itself. While attention focuses on this illusion, it places pollen bombs near its target. It triggers them before the target understands the trap. The Pokédex shows a fighting style built on two complementary actions: creating an impossible appearance and using surprise to prepare a very real attack.
