CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Volo removes a Pokémon V from your Bench together with all cards attached to it. The whole group goes to the discard pile: no return to the hand is provided. This choice frees a space but also abandons resources invested in that Pokémon. The target must be Benched and carry the V designation; an Active Pokémon does not meet the selection.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
The removal required by Volo also takes cards attached to the chosen Pokémon. It therefore does not allow separately saving its Energy or Tools. All these resources share the same destination: the player's discard pile.
