CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Stormy Mountains lets each player, once during their turn, search their deck for a Basic Lightning or Dragon Pokémon and put it onto their Bench. That player then shuffles their deck. The Stadium directly establishes a new presence on the field, offering two types with a shared restriction to the Basic stage.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
The search does not add the Pokémon to the hand before putting it into play. A Lightning or Dragon Evolution is ineligible even when its type matches, because the text also requires a Basic Pokémon.
