CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Probopass directs three small units called Mini-Noses through its magnetic force. It can remain almost motionless while they fight or capture prey at a distance. The field it emits is powerful enough to disrupt nearby electrical devices. Yet this autonomy has a downside: a Mini-Nose may wander so far that it never returns. The Pokédex therefore presents a central body that commands, monitors and depends on three mobile scouts.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Ultra Sun relates that one of Probopass’s Mini-Noses may become permanently lost after exploring too far. Pokémon Sun states that its magnetic field renders nearby electrical devices unusable. Its ability to act at a distance thus has limits and effects on its surroundings.
