Leucht-Energie

CARDEX BACKGROUND

The role of this Energy

Luminous Energy can represent any Energy type while it is the only Special Energy attached to its Pokémon. It nevertheless provides only one Energy at a time. If another Special Energy joins that Pokémon, its text limits its contribution to Colorless Energy. The card therefore rewards a simple setup: it covers a particular symbol but loses that freedom when the holder accumulates other special resources. Its value depends on all the Energy already present, not merely its own name.

A detail worth noticing

Luminous Energy's text checks for another Special Energy, whatever that card may be. As soon as that condition is met, it provides Colorless Energy instead of the chosen type. A flexible card can therefore change roles without leaving its Pokémon.
