Aufziehen der Sturmröte / #7/111
Printed language: German · Pokémon
CARDEX BACKGROUND
Karrablast hunts Shelmet and can dissolve its shell with acidic liquid to reach its food. Its body also reacts to electricity. The Pokédex says an encounter with Shelmet accompanied by electrical stimulation triggers an evolution that remains poorly explained. In danger, Karrablast can spit its acid to defend itself. Its relationship with Shelmet therefore combines hunting, rivalry and a mysterious change in its own form.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.Pokémon Shield describes Karrablast's acid dissolving Shelmet's shell. Pokémon Black and Pokémon Y connect its evolution with electrical stimulation during their encounter. The opponent it hunts also participates in the phenomenon that transforms it.
